The Baileigh MDC-550H is the 460V build of Baileigh's 5 HP dry dust collector, drawing 7A on a recommended 15A breaker. It produces 3,583 CFM and 6,555 FPM of air velocity at the 10" inlet, which is the combination that actually lifts dense metal particulate out of a wide belt sander rather than letting it settle in the ductwork.

The inlet adapter splits into dual 5" ports, enough to run two wide belt sanders or a bank of grinding and deburring stations from one collector. Exhaust passes through two 5 micron paper filters rated at 84.3% capture from 1 to 3 microns and 95.4% from 3 to 10 microns, so fine polishing dust ends up in the bin rather than back in the breathing air. The 126L collection bag is fireproof non-woven material and sits in a front-access bin on casters.

The collector is certified to UL 1017, runs at 85 dB measured 5 ft from the impeller, and uses a multi-function emergency stop with a removable key so it can be locked out between shifts.

For 230V three phase service, order the MDC-550. Use the dry collector on stainless, mild steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, cast iron, and tool steel. Where the dust stream includes aluminum, titanium, copper, brass, or other reactive metals, or where an NFPA 660 dust hazard analysis calls for it, the MWDC-550H wet collector is the correct 460V option.

• Returns: We accept returns and exchanges for a fee up to 30 days in unopened, new, and unused condition in the original packaging. Exceptions apply.

Return shipping is at the customer's cost. At Beaver Industrial Supply’s discretion, delivery charges can be refunded if the goods are defective.

Machinery too large for parcel shipment (palletized or crated) is only returnable if there is a material defect that cannot be resolved by replacing components.
