Details
The Bessey EHKM360-06 is a medium-duty 6 in. one-handed bar trigger clamp engineered for general woodworking, cabinetry, staircase construction, commercial shop fitting, and interior trim work. Delivering up to 165 lbs. of clamping force with a 2-3/8 in. throat depth, this clamp bridges the gap between delicate craft clamps and heavy bar clamps, providing solid holding power for everyday joinery and assembly tasks.
Equipped with Bessey's patent-pending 360-degree rotating handle assembly, the EHKM360-06 adapts instantly to tight corners, cabinet carcasses, and awkward installation angles. The handle rotates freely around the perimeter of the rigid steel rail, allowing users to select the most comfortable pumping angle or swivel the trigger 180 degrees away to prevent mechanical interference when placing multiple clamps side-by-side along an edge glue-up.
The clamp quickly converts from clamping to outward spreading with no extra tools required. Pressing the locking release allows the fixed jaw to slide off the bar and re-lock onto the opposing end, creating an expansive 6 in. to 12 in. spreader for casing separation or fixture squaring. Large removable soft-touch jaw pads evenly distribute force across the contact area, safeguarding raw hardwood and delicate architectural moldings against surface damage.
When deeper throat reach or higher holding pressure is required for heavy structural glue-ups, choose the Bessey EHKL360 series (offering a 3-1/8 in. throat depth and 300 lbs. of clamping force). For longer stock lengths in the medium-duty class, choose the 12 in. capacity EHKM360-12.
Features & Benefits
- 360-Degree Rotating Mechanism: Patent-pending handle swivels fully around the bar rail, enabling comfortable trigger actuation from any angle in restrictive work spaces.
- High-Density Clamping: Handle folds 180 degrees flat against the bar, enabling parallel placement of multiple clamps along narrow glue seams without handles colliding.
- 165 lbs. Clamping Force: Provides robust pressure suitable for cabinet face frames, furniture frames, dowel assemblies, and general trade fabrication.
- Tool-Free Spreader Conversion: Push-button jaw detachment allows rapid changeover from clamping mode to a 6 in. to 12 in. outward spreader.
- 2-3/8 in. Throat Depth: Reaches past overhanging lips, profiles, and structural flanges to apply pressure where it is required.
- Protective Removable Pads: Large composite soft-touch pads prevent marring, denting, or resin staining on finished lumber and pre-laminated surfaces.
- Hardened Burnished Steel Rail: Heavy-gauge profiled steel bar resists bending under maximum clamping loads while ensuring smooth slide travel.
- Ergonomic Composite Body: Reinforced PA6 polyamide jaws and trigger withstand heavy drop impacts and repeated shop use.
