The Baileigh SH-70250-HD is a 96 in. (8 ft.) hydraulic sheet metal shear engineered for industrial metal fabrication, steel service centers, and high-volume production facilities. Capable of shearing mild steel up to 1/4 in. (6.35 mm) thick and stainless steel up to 10-gauge (0.177 in. / 4.5 mm), this shear provides precise, burr-free cuts across full-width 8 ft. sheets. Powered by a 10 HP main motor operating on 220V 3-phase power, it utilizes a fully welded steel frame to maintain rigid alignment and resist deflection during heavy cutting operations.

Operational accuracy is managed by the integrated YSD6000s NC controller paired with a motorized back gauge providing 0.4 in. to 23.62 in. travel with positioning precision to +/- 0.01 mm. Driven by a variable frequency drive (VFD), the back gauge moves at full speed during initial travel before shifting to a low-speed approach near the target dimension, reducing positioning inertia. The controller features internal memory for up to 100 programs and supports both single-step and multi-step sequence programming to optimize throughput on complex cut lists.

To ensure cut quality across various sheet metal grades, the shear features manual handwheel blade gap adjustment from 0.002 in. to 0.024 in., along with powered rake angle adjustment from 0.5 deg. to 2.5 deg. Adjustable hydraulic hold-down cylinders secure workpieces against the table before blade contact to prevent material slippage. Material handling is facilitated by front support arms, a squaring arm with eccentric alignment adjustment, roller infeed table surfaces, and a shadow-line lamp that projects a visual cutting line onto scribed workpieces. Integrated safety features include interlocked rear light curtain guards, a foot pedal control with hold and single-cycle modes, and an emergency stop button.

Our shipping carriers cannot deliver to PO box or U.S. military post office box addresses, such as APO and FPO, so we require a physical street address for delivery. We use USPS, which typically takes 2-8 days for delivery, depending on your location, for smaller items and UPS Ground for all other ground shipments under 150 pounds.

• Returns: We accept returns and exchanges for a fee up to 30 days in unopened, new, and unused condition in the original packaging. Exceptions apply.

Please note, NO REFUNDS will be given on any new, used, or damaged item if it is not returned in the original packaging, no matter what condition the packaging is in. If the item qualifies for free shipping, you will be charged the original shipping cost and are responsible for shipping the product back with the shipping carrier of your choice.

Because items are your responsibility until they reach us, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you of the value of the goods. Return shipping is at the customer's cost. At Beaver Industrial Supply’s discretion, delivery charges can be refunded if the goods are defective.

Returns require a return authorization number. Please call customer service at 314-773-5999 or submit a customer service inquiry to start the exchange or return process and receive an authorization number.

Machinery too large for parcel shipment (palletized or crated) is only returnable if there is a material defect that cannot be resolved by replacing components.
