Every tool runs on the same battery and charger, so a shop that standardizes on Ionic Drive isn't stocking three different battery sizes for three different brands.
Tools are sold both bare, for shops already running Kreg batteries, and as kits with a starter battery and charger included. The drill-and-jig combo kits pair a compact drill with a specific Kreg pocket-hole jig model, 320, 520PRO, 720PRO, or K4, which matters if you're setting up a pocket-hole station from scratch rather than adding a tool to an existing one.
For cabinetmakers and finish carpenters already running Kreg's pocket-hole jigs and clamps, extending into cordless drills and saws on the same battery cuts down on chargers cluttering the bench. The lineup also covers general shop tasks with an angle grinder, impact wrenches, and a 2.6-gallon HEPA wet/dry vacuum on the same platform.
