A hand chain hoist gets the job done in shops and on jobsites without electrical service, in low headroom, or wherever a powered hoist is overkill for the lift. JET's L-100 Series covers 1/4 ton to 20 tons in standard lifts of 10, 15, 20, and 30 feet, with custom lift lengths available for nonstandard mounting heights. All-steel construction and a compact body keep the hoist usable in confined areas and low-clearance applications where a bulkier hoist won't fit. The patented fused brake design is backed by a lifetime replacement warranty, and grade 100 load chain — rated stronger than the more common grade 80 — extends service life under repeated use.

Most of the catalog here ships with slip-clutch overload protection, which stops the hoist from lifting a load beyond its rated capacity — a meaningful safety margin when crews are estimating load weight rather than measuring it. Hoists without overload protection are also stocked for applications where that feature isn't required or where a separate load-limiting device is already in place. Either way, alloy steel hooks rotate 360 degrees for rigging flexibility, and cast steel safety latches secured with Allen screws keep the load on the hook through the lift.
