The Festool Drywall Planex Sander is a completely new approach to drywall sanding. With the modular design of the Planex that includes a pivotal head and adjustable sliding shaft, never again worry about climbing up on a pair of stilts to finish a sanding job. The Planex has also been engineered to handle direct overhead sanding and eliminate the usual incurred fatigue with a very lightweight build and a built in safety harness to assure maximum handling and security. There are two types of job specific long lasting abrasives for the Planex; One being brilliant, for general use and the other, Saphir, for heavy duty use on rougher surfaces.
